I was admitted to the hospital via the er from last friday to this past wednesday. I'm not going to go into details, at least not in a public post, but my health is bad. Much worse than originally thought. Just rather exhuasted and number to it all...

So last week I met with the doctor about my MRI results. So...okay when I fell before Thanksgiving, not only isn't the FIRST fracture not healed....but I ended up causing another one, a stress fracture which he says should be healed in four to six more weeks. THe big thing is the other one is NOT healing and we may want to consider the surgery ( Read more... )

Just got home from the Ortho doctor...I was seeing his physian's assitant for the first time, and I actually like him a lot better than the actual doctor. He was nice, friendly, attentive, listened to me, asked questions, and expressed concern. I never had the surgery. It got very frustrating. Basically they can't even BEGIN to apply for a home health aid until after I have the surgery, and then it could take weeks. So it meant I'd be left all alone for those weeks...when I am not supposed to be weight bearing on the operated foot. Also was tied rehab was NOT an option, that they don't ( Read more... )

So been stressed and frustrated with trying to get stuff, a plan in place, for AFTER surgery. spent a lot of time on the phone today....still being told they can't set up after care at home until i have already had the surgery....and then I'd have to wait for assesement AND if approved, get a home health aid for the time I can't bear any weight on ( Read more... )

July was pretty much a waste...i was sick for all of it and still have things lingering over from it. =/ It started as a mile cough, then got really bad over night a few days in. Got told it was an upper respitory infection of unknown origina and given antibotics, cough drops, and nebulizer solution. THat was my FIRST visit of what proved to be six ( Read more... )

Saw the doctor yesterday. I am now in a purple cast that matches the color of my purse. Really hope this cast works out, cause I want to avoid surgery. Yesterday also saw the arrival of a mosnter storm, that water got in through the air conditioner slot, and short circuited my router so i lost internet access until I could go to get replacement ( Read more... )

So just got back home from the orthopediac I was referred too. Good God it is even worse than previously told. I am in a boot, and he said I broke something in the top of my foot, and if the boot don't help it to heal naturally, I will have to get a bone graph and screws to fix it ( Read more... )
